Warrior Beach Retreat Third Annual Fundraising BBQ

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is holding their third barbeque fundraiser on Friday, September 11th from 10:30am to 1pm  to benefit the Warrior Beach Retreat (501c). ECBH has a 30-bed Military Resiliency Unit for active duty service members and veterans, so this event is very near and dear to our hearts.

100% of the funds raised go directly to the Warrior Beach Retreat. ECBH is sponsoring the event with Deep Smoke BBQ (winners of Grills Gone Wild and BBQ events across the southeast) volunteering their time and expertise to cook the barbeque. They will be serving: ¼ BBQ chicken, mac-n-cheese, baked beans and dessert–$8.00 per meal or two meals for $15.00.

They will have tables and chairs set up underneath two large tents the day of the event.  Everyone is welcome to come and eat , or you can always pick up your meals to-go. They are also offering delivery on orders of 10+ meals (please order in advance so transportation can be arranged within 20 miles—deadline for delivery orders is Thursday, Sept. 10^th at 5:00 pm). This time we are blessed to have a number of the warriors and their families joining for lunch, as the Fall 2015 Retreat for 50+ families starts on Saturday, Sept. 12^th this year with the parade on Thursday, Sept. 17^th. The Retreat will be a time of rest and relaxation for the heroes and their caregivers to give them hope to carry on; a feeling that their sacrifice was not in vain, and knowing that we as a nation are truly grateful for their service and sacrifice.
